QuickBuild offers users a quick and easy way to construct an on-line store with the minimum design effort. QuickBuild enables store builders to choose from a range of preset web store styles and designs. To start QuickBuild, click on the Intro Menu tab then click on the Quickbuild icon.
Upon entering the QuickBuild path you will be presented with a selection of store style templates for you to choose from. These style templates include background images, graphical menu items, a main logo, example product images and the inclusion of replaceable 'example' text. To select your preferred style simply click on the thumbnail image and this will take you to an enlarged view before the need to confirm the design. Below the enlarged view you will find two buttons, Use This Store and Choose Again, also two check boxes that allow you to use the default site page text and catalogue structures. To confirm the style template that you wish to use for your store depress the Use this Store button.
Note: If you have chosen to use default
text or categories you will see a confirmation dialogue box, check to
confirm the entries and click the Use This Store button again.
The template will transfer its design theme into your store and present
you with a message stating, "Your
choice has been saved under your account".
If you have decided against the style template chosen, then by clicking
on the Choose Again
button you will be taken back to the previous screen so that you can re-select.
Once your choice of design has been saved to your account you can continue
configuring your store by clicking on the QuickBuild
button again, and you will be taken to Personal Details
Here you enter details about your store, such as you business contact details and your order confirmation email addresses. This information appears on both your contact detail's page by default, and on all 'key event' emails sent by TecknaShop to your shoppers. When this form is correct and complete click on the Update Details button to save the information. To continue click the QuickBuild button, and you will be taken to Site Page Administration.
This page enables you edit the text that appears on the main and user defined pages of your site. Note: The Guest Book entry on this page is blank until a shopper adds the first guest book entry. See the Site Pages Administration section of this publication for more information on text pages. Once each page is completed you can advance to the Catalogue Options by clicking the QuickBuild button.
This section is provided to add / edit the store catalogue and the products in this catalogue. Please refer to the Catalogue Options section for further information about the construction of the store catalogue.
