This area is where you enter in the key details relating to your business and your company's web site. This information appears by default on both your contact detail's page, and on all 'key event' emails sent by TecknaShop to your shoppers (such as transaction and order fulfillment confirmations).
The company's name will be displayed on the contact details page, optionally at the head of all other pages (if a company logo is not uploaded), on all 'key event' emails sent by TecknaShop to your shoppers (such as transaction and order fulfillment confirmations), and also to the Internet search engine registrars with your store details (see Search Engine Details).

By entering an email address (for example stock@mysite.com) you can receive warnings of low stock or out of stock situations in your inventory (as a result of stock depletion following authorised order transactions).
Note: that this warnings only works if the Activate low-stock warning emails box is checked.

When the web address is entered, it can be displayed as an additional hyperlink from all store pages using the Home navigation option in the Look and Feel section (this enables navigation back to a home site for those who have one). The entry format for this parameter is http://xxxxxxxxx /, where xxxxxxxxx equates to the parent site address.
Full mall functionality is not in place yet, but we request that you select a category that best describes your site from the drop down list provided, so that when TecknaShop malls are in place, shoppers can locate your products in this way in addition to the existing methods.
When all the above fields have been defined, simply click the Update Details button at the foot of the page to save your details.
For an e-commerce store to be successful, it must be advertised. Click and Build has the capability of submitting your web store details to over 1000 search engines worldwide (including - Yahoo, Web Crawler, HotBot, Excite, Alta Vista, Lycos, AOL Netfind and Magellan) so that users of those directories can find your store. The first Submission of your site is included with the purchase of the TecknaShop Software. Re-submitting of your store requires an additional payment to your TecknaShop supplier. Contact your TecknaShop supplier for more information about search engines and (re-)submission fees.
In the boxes provided, enter the:
Store identifying keywords- 10 only, comma separated (for example, garden center, plants, flowers, paving). These keywords are used by the search engines as part of their indexing process, so choose the words that customers are most likely to enter at a search engine when looking for you products.
Site description- 300 characters only. Most search engines will send this description to the user when your site is located so make this description clear and concise.
Store category- selected from the drop down list. This will be used by web indexes that list your site by a category.
The URL of the store (http://xxxxxxxxx/, where xxxxxxxxx equates to the store's address). Note: if you have registered a domain name then enter the domain URL instead.
Contact email address for search engines responses. Warning: This email address will receive a large number of responses therefore; we recommend that you use a specific email address for example 'spam@myshop.com'.
When all the above fields have been defined, simply check the Submit The Search-Engine Fields box and click the Submission button to submit your entries to the search engines.
