Features of the Software

Below is a list of the features that make up TecknaShop, some of which are new and exclusive to this version. The new features for Click and Build Version 3.0 are highlighted in green.

General features

Fully integrated with WorldPay’s secure payment systems.
Multilingual – The administration features and the shopping interface are available in a number of European languages (International Version only). Available languages are automatically 'switched on' by the browser or selected by the user.
Multi-currency – Shoppers can choose to pay in their own currency. Exchange rates are updated automatically each day.
Easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI).
800x600 screen resolution (increased from 640x480)
Extra web pages – Unlimited user defined web pages.
Build View – The inventory build and shoppers view are separated for clarity.
Pagination – To view the results of functions that return multiple pages, navigation now includes page numbers, and first/last as well as existing forward/back.

Store Building features

QuickBuild – A fast way to set-up a new store based on ready-made store templates.
International Tax and Shipping – An easy to use interface helps you enter the information TecknaShop needs to provide automatic calculation of cross border Tax rates and shipping costs.
Multi-user – Define as many administrative users as you need and control their access to various parts of your store administration.
Text and HTML – Write store pages in straightforward text with multiple embedded images, or more complex pages using HTML.
Downloadable Goods – Upload software, video, images, music, documents or any other form of software based product for your shoppers to purchase and download.
Discounts – Specify as many global variations of discount as you need, based on percentage over a given value of order, free delivery of a given value of order, or other offers such us 3 for the price of 2. You can apply these discounts to any or all products based on any date ranges that you specify.
Inventory Control – Automatically updates stock levels based on shopping activity and emails when any item falls below your pre-set minimum stock level or is exhausted.
Reporting – Produce almost any report, using the comprehensive and easy to use report generator.
Search Engines – Submit and re-submit details to various search engines
Off-line Build – A stand-alone application run at the administrator's workstation to speed up the process of building large inventories. You can build the entire inventory, and uploaded it to the server when complete.
News Pages – News articles can be produced and linked to/from a product within your store.
Guest book - Enables shoppers leave comments. The comments can be vetted before making them visible to other shoppers.
Nested Product Categories – If your store has a large inventory you can expand the category, product and variant structure of your store to included unlimited nested categories.
Sorting - Assign sort priorities to categories, products, variants and instructions in order to present your favored products and related information to your shoppers first.
Statistics Screen - See the status of your store. Easily check order activity and resource usage.
Colour picker - An easy way to choose the colours to be used in your store.

Shoppers' features

Currency - Shoppers can select their preferred currency and all prices will be displayed in that currency with no additional exchange charges to be added later.
Language - Shoppers can select their preferred language for using the TecknaShop Store Interface.
Instructions – Shoppers can make choices and give other input throughout the store.
Order Progress – Shoppers:

- receive an email confirming payment clearance (from WorldPay’s payment gateway), order acceptance and dispatch.

- can query the status of their order on-line.
